The Protest Is Not Over

October 31, 1517 was the date. The place was Wittenberg Castle church, Wittenberg, Germany. His name was Martin Luther. Committed to the idea that salvation could be reached through faith in Jesus Christ alone and by God’s divine grace only, Luther vigorously objected to the corrupt practice of selling indulgences by the Roman church. Consequently, he defiantly nailed his 95 Theses to the door of the Wittenberg Castle church. His singular act is indelibly inscribed in the annals of salvation history as the event that gave birth to the Protestant Reformation. The Church of Rome responded to Luther's Reformation

The Gathering Storm

A storm is coming: relentless in its fury and unimaginable in its scope. It is destined to affect every person on planet earth. The ancient Jewish seer, Daniel, describes it thus, “And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time” (Daniel 12:1). Unfortunately, the vast majority of earth’s inhabitants are unaware of the true nature of this conflict of apocalyptic proportions. Even fewer are prepared for what is

The Seven Year Deception

In one of His last discourses with His disciples before His crucifixion, Jesus Christ prophesied of the events that would take place just prior to His second coming back to planet earth. Beginning with Babylon, some 600 years before the birth of Jesus Christ, those powers are undeniably identified. They are: Babylon, Media/Persia, Greece, Imperial Rome, the Roman Papacy and the United States of America. But many, clergy, scholars, and laymen are denying America’s role in Bible prophecy. Yet, while many are wondering about, yea speculating, even denying America’s

And All the World Wondered After the Beast

The Bible refers to a power which, in the end of time, would have universal dominion over every nation, kindred, people and tongue (Revelation 17:15). The final scenes of the book are being played out before our very eyes. Just as John prophesied, we are witnessing the gathering  together, by this power, of all religions and the organizing of all political powers in an effort to bring better understanding and tranquility to the human family. The prophet Daniel foretells that in addition to being a persecuting power, this entity would seek to set itself up above God by claiming to

The Blessed Hope

Thankfully, we have the words of our Creator who offers these words of comfort through His servant, John, “And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed
